As we begin Leo season with the first of two consecutive Aquarius Full Moons we are reminded that 2021 holds a strong Aquarian signature that began with the Great Conjunction of December 21, 2020 when Jupiter and Saturn merged just under the 1st degree of Aquarius. With this current Full Moon just over the 1st degree of Aquarius strong emotional realizations arise concerning our happiness, freedom, individuality and our collective human condition.
The opposition during this Full Moon is between the Sun in Leo and the Moon in Aquarius. Leo a natural leader is fun loving, bold and dramatic. Naturally self-expressive Leo seeks acknowledgement and appreciation. Aquarius is forward thinking and oriented to advanced thought, innovation, technology and humanitarian issues. Seeking freedom and individuality, Aquarius must release the need for approval and stand in their truth. Although both signs need to be genuine, the focus is different. Leo’s focus is on the self and Aquarius’s focus is on the collective human family. Valuing the energy of both signs provides the gift in the middle, where shining our unique light benefits the collective.
Saturn in Aquarius, the traditional ruler of Aquarius and Pluto in Capricorn are the serious teachers standing on either side of this Full Moon, reminding us of our previous intentions and commitments. Uranus, called the “Great Awakener” is in the sign of Taurus and the modern ruler of this Full Moon, changing how we view and create stability and security.
As we realize we have outgrown many things of our past and that radical change is necessary for the continued evolution of ourselves and of humanity, this Full Moon is an emotional check in point. Are we still on track with disciplined effort to manifest the dreams and goals determined around the time of the Great Conjunction or have our desires, goals or objectives changed or lost steam? This is a time to be honest with ourselves and examine our strategies, level of commitment and self-discipline and then re-evaluate how well we are doing, or not. Using this understanding we can take action to make any improvements necessary in the continuation of realizing important goals and life work that are in alignment with who we are becoming.
On July 23, 2020 we will be receiving the first of two consecutive heartfelt Aquarian Full Moon messages this year that support the meaning of the Great Conjunction of 2020. The world is changing and it all comes down to the individual; you and me. Strengthen your sense of self and shine your light as you continue to align your path for greater authenticity.
