NEPTUNE RETROGRADE
On June 2nd , Neptune having just barely begun its 14 year journey in the sign of Pisces will go retrograde and take its last dip into Aquarius this time around, giving us all a bit more of Neptune’s lyrical whispers guiding and opening us to our own authenticity and genius.
Neptune retrograde will leave Pisces and move back into the sign of Aquarius August 5th until November 9th 2011 when Neptune will go direct traveling back through the last degrees of Aquarius and on February 3, 2012 finally begin its long mystical journey through its natural sign Pisces, urging us individually and collectively to open ourselves up to love, compassion, creativity, divine connection to each other, and Source, GOD, Universe…whatever name you give it.
JUPITER MOVES INTO TAURUS
On June 4th Jupiter the planet of hope and opportunity, after it’s vigorous, courageous, and possibly in some cases overly ambitious start in Aries now slows down in the earthy, sensual, lover of comfort sign of Taurus, providing some stabilizing energy to all those new directions and opportunities begun last month. Taurus may slow down so much though that it can bring things to a screeching halt if fear or too much stubbornness creeps in. It’s a plus to be aware of the risk of new ideas, possibilities and ventures, but to truly grow some level of calculated risk is necessary.
Jupiter does open windows of opportunity, but we have to have our eyes open to see them, and then take that leap of faith through those windows that lead to realizing our dreams. As Jupiter’s energy can feel like everything will just come to us on its own without our effort, we may experience situations or opportunities vaporizing, or falling apart unexpectedly. We have to see the opportunities available and do the work to bring them into full expression. We have to show up prepared to truly reap Jupiter’s gifts.
The other thing that can happen with Jupiter is that we can get in over our heads…too much…too soon. So keep that in mind also…sometimes as we stretch out and test new wings, it’s wise to know how fast and far we can go with them before we set out to soar.
As the dust settles from last month and choices and directions are seen more clearly, allow Taurus’s solid energy to ground you as you calmly secure and navigate continued expansion and growth.
JUPITER SEXTILE NEPTUNE
Expansive Jupiter will be moving into some less intense and stressful interactions with outer planets this month and next.
Days after Jupiter moves into the sign of Taurus, it moves into an exact sextile with Neptune on June 8th, and lasts about 5 days. With Jupiter in stable Taurus and Neptune in dreamy Pisces we can be inspired from the endless well within to grow in ways we never imaged before, for something solid and supportive; whether it be a new source of financial stability, a relationship, a creative expression.
This aspect between Jupiter in Taurus and Neptune in Pisces is kind of like a big beautiful tree…the highest branches are dreaming and dancing, one with the wind, the clouds and the stars while the strong and sturdy roots are planted deep and stable within the cool earth.
The sextile is an aspect that creates some excitement and stimulation; it can be quite invigorating and really get things going. The thing to be aware of with sextiles is that with all this stirring up energy it can also create impulsiveness that may land you where you don’t want to be.
SATURN DIRECT
On June 12th transiting Saturn will go direct in the air sign of Libra. As Saturn begins its forward movement it prods us in the never ending process of growing up..of maturity, and to use the insight found during the reflection and review while retrograde to guide us.
Saturn asks us to pay attention, to use self discipline, wisdom, and patience as we engage with others; even if it feels really hard, to make decisions when it’s necessary even if it’s difficult to get off the fence. Saturn in Libra teaches us that we will find our best rewards and outcomes for peace, harmony, and balance, whether in our personal relationships or out in the world when we develop and live our own inner authority and maturity.
